Company Profile
Idaho Tractor, Inc. is a “Thiel Family Affair”. Curt is the general manager and Jane is the office manager. Dave and Chris pretty much do a little of everything while learning the business from their father with the hopes that one day they can take over the reins of the business. In 1961, Rudy Thiel, his wife, Pauline and Curt began with one mechanic, “Chester” to build what today is known as one of the most dependable and respected businesses in the Treasure Valley. What was once a “warehouse” on Simplot Blvd in Caldwell, is now a 13,500 square foot establishment on Caldwell Blvd, in Nampa. In the parts department Jeff Caddy, Jay Arehart, Aaron Valentine are at your service. Jacki Caddy & Amanda Thiel are in the office, Bob Mixdorf and Buzz Beauchamp are our outside sales staff. Jeff Bowden is the service manager, overseeing the mechanics Craig Kutterer, Rick Irwin, Tyler Stewart, Jeff Hardin, Eric Craig, Dusty Thiel and Trevor Luttmer as the equipment rental clean-up specialist and Brad Randolf our equipment truck driver . We specialize in parts, sales, service and rentals of construction equipment.
